The other day I was reading Cold Spell, which is a retelling of The Snow Queen. Very good stuff, so I decided to look for other versions. I found one called Winter's Child by Cameron Dokey. And it had this subtitle, Once Upon a Time FairyTales. A whole series of fairy tale retellings by various authors. How did this escape my attention?! We have a few in my library collection, but after a little research I added the rest to my spring order, and thus my "to be read" list! There are some really good looking books in this series and I adore fairy tale retellings.
Have you read any of these? My library has Beauty Sleep: A Retelling of "Sleeping Beauty" so that's the one I am starting with.
