Bookmarks! I have them all over the house, lying around on tables, dropped into drawers. Occupational hazard of always beginning to read books at the library.
I always bookmark as well. My bookmark of choice are paint sample sheet. Disney ones at Home Depot are awesome because of the names of the paint colors. My favorite this summer is called Rumbly Tumbly. How fun is that? I also like Pittsburgh Paints because they are skinny and have a range of colors, not just monochromatic. The worst is when my son makes me a bookmark and I feel I have to use it for awhile. I like my paint samples better. Nice mothering huh?
Gasp! You said the "D" word! Bookmarks for me. However, if my sons have failed to leave a scrap on the floor at the moment I need one, face down it goes.
Bookmark! And I agree that post-it's make great bookmarks. They're the only bookmark that can survive my cat rifling through the pages and knocking it off my nightstand when he's trying to get my attention. :)
I use those book bands that look like giant stretchy bracelets with the beads all over them. My kids are notorious for pulling my bookmarks out of my books.
Mostly I just remember what page I am on. Otherwise, bookmark.

ReplyDeleteWow, Tina. That's impressive, I can never remember what page I am on!
ReplyDeleteI used to be dogear, but now I'm more of a bookmark or facedown when I can't find a bookmark.
ReplyDeleteBookmarks-absolutely!! I have a jar of them on my kitchen counter.
ReplyDeleteBookmarks :)
ReplyDeleteOccasionally face down.
Dog earring should be illegal!
The irony is that despite my plethora of bookmarks I always end up using a post-it or scrap of paper.
Bookmark - Never, ever dog ear.
