I check a lot of books out from the library.
I know, no shocker, I am a librarian. Plus, not every book I read deserves to be in my personal library.
And I have already discussed my lack of ablility to plan out what I am going to read.
But, I really want to read some of the books I have checked out before they are due. Do I dare make a plan to read the books in order of their due date?
What is your reading method? How do you tackle your to-read pile?
(also, I had a girl come in today to check out a book for her sister, who is in the hospital because here sister had "her tonsils and her androids taken out.")
When I don't have to read a book for review I base my next reading choice purely on what I'm in the mood for. I have to stare at my bookcase for awhile until I see the one that scream "I'm what you're looking for read me next!" That's why getting books at the library would never work for me. I'm impressed by people who check out tons of books from the library.
