Tween Tuesdays: Upcoming Reads

Here are some upcoming reads that I can't wait to read and can't wait to order for my library!

*The Wizard of Dark Street by Shawn Thomas Odyssey (Egmont USA; July 26)*
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book and it looks so good! Can't wait to start this one.

*Wildwood by Colin Meloy (Balzer & Bray; Aug. 30)*
There is a lot of good buzz surrounding this one. It sounds so good!

*Tuesdays at the Castle by Jessica Day George (Bloomsbury; Oct. 11)*
I adore Jessica Day George's books and this one looks just plain fun.

*The Princess Curse by Merrie Haskell (Harpercollins; Sept. 6)*
I love re-written fairy tales.

*The Mostly True Story of Jack by Kelly Barnhill (Little Brown; Aug. 2)*
Interesting cover and interesting synopsis.

*This Dark Endeavor by Kenneth Oppel (Simon & Schuster; Aug 23)*
One of my favorite authors (Airborn series) and a new take on Frankenstein. Sign me up!

*Mister Creecher by Chris Priestly (Bloomsbury; Oct. 3)*
I just love the cover and synopsis for this one. I think it will be a big hit with lots of my readers.

*Breadcrumbs by Anne Ursu (Walden Pond Press; Sept. 27)*
Got an ARC of this one. Cannot wait to start it.

*13 Gifts by Wendy Mass (Scholastic; Sept. 1)*
Wendy Mass' birthday books are super good reads!

What tween reads are looking most forward to?

  4. I am so excited about all of them and have gotten copies of some. This week I read The Wizard of Dark Street and loved it. Cool new world that the author created with a great heroine. Good stuff!
