I had to post this. Supposedly Alex Pettyfer is in talks to play Peeta. NOT GOOD. He is not a bad actor and he is attractive, but he is so not what I envisioned Peeta would be like. Then again, I think they have it wrong if they plan to put Hailey Steinfeld in the role of Katniss because she is only 14!
What do you think?
I don't like Alex as Peeta either. He's all wrong for the role. I like Jeremy Sumpter as Peeta. Plus, Alex is already in talks for playing Jace, which is a much better role for him.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read The Hunger Games yet, so I can't comment on that. All I can say is that he needs to stop considering all these other books and sign on for The Mortal Instruments already.
ReplyDeleteI also don't like how he'll be cast in so many YA book/movie adaptations. It'll be kind of strange to see his face in the role of all these different characters. I think that will negatively affect the movies for me.
