Tomorrow the
title, cover design and color of the fourth
Diary of a Wimpy Kid will be revealed. I love these books and laugh out loud repeatedly while reading them. The very best part is that my oldest son (future sixth grader) who is considered a "dormant" reader will read these books cover to cover in one day. Here in lies the conundrum...I can't get him interested in anything else. Not action (Percy Jackson), not spies (Alex Rider), not wizards (Harry), not aliens (Daniel X),
nothing else will do. So, this summer I really racked my brains because obviously, he likes funny books...
Thank you Judy Blume! As a stop gap between wimpy kids Carter has discovered the monster of all little brothers, Fudge. He whipped through
Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and is in the midst of
Superfudge. Thankfully we will not have a summer of starts and stops and then finally giving up! He is reading!! But, we still count the days until October 12!

Looovveed Judy Blume! She was a favorite of mine, not to mention Beverly Cleary! Go Carter Go!
