YA Book to Movie Review: I Am Number Four

I saw this movie on Sunday and here are my thoughts:

*I adored Alex Pettyfer. And, although I still don't think he is the perfect fit, I could actually get on board with it if he is cast as Peeta.

*Timothy Olyphant!! I loved him as Henri! Mostly because Justifed is one of m favorite shows on TV right now and also because he is hot.

*I was not pleased that they didn't explain any of the Lorien mythology (like how they have to be killed in order).

*People who didn't read the book can get it, but it made my younger son want to read the book as soon as he got home--he read for an hour and half!! That was totally worth the price of the ticket.

*Overall, it was a fun, action packed movie. I can't wait for the second one!
