Treasures!

I took this library over from a woman who it appears did not throw anything away in the 17 years she was here. So, I have found some treasures. (in fact I did a post about this earlier, but the pictures got deleted by me somehow so here I am doing another one)

My favorite thing ever: these Bill Martin Jr. leveled readers. You can bet when I weed these they will be making their way to my house. My favorite is When it Rains, it Rains. It is so simple and sweet. "When it rains, it rains. When it snows, it snows. When it fogs, it fogs. When it blows, it blows. When it's hot, it's hot. When it's cold, it's cold. When you're young, you're young. When you're old, you're old. When I'm merry, I'm merry. When I'm sad, I'm sad. When I'm good, I'm good. But, when I'm bad, I'm perfectly HORRID."Then I found these really retro looking posters. I haven't used them yet, I just take them out and look at them because I love the way they look. And there is one for every holiday, including Veteran's Day. They are awesome.
