Fire, Fire, Fire

I finally got Fire from a friend this weekend. So far, so good. Kristin Cashore is a smooth writer. My fellow librarian friend thinks the whole term "monsters" that is used so freely and to describe Fire is a metaphor. Maybe, but I think she reads too much into what she is reading.
